Last Updated: July 27, 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or enrolling in the school "Unreal Engine C++ PRO: Game System Design" ("Unreal Engine C++ PRO: Проектирование игровых систем") located at https://ue-pro.com (including associated subdomains, course Wiki documentation hosted on Vercel, code repositories hosted on Bitbucket, playable demo builds hosted on itch.io, and the Teachable platform), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, all applicable laws and regulations (including the laws of Finland and the European Union), and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this School are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
2. School Owner and Operator
This School is owned and operated by Iurii Popov (Юрий Попов), residing in Finland ("School Owner", "Instructor", "We", "Us"). For any inquiries regarding these terms, please contact support@ue-pro.com.
3. Relationship to Teachable Platform Terms
This School is hosted on Teachable, Inc. ("Teachable"). Your use of the School is also subject to Teachable’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. In the event of any conflict between these Terms of Use and Teachable’s Terms of Use, Teachable’s terms shall take precedence regarding platform operations and services.
4. Use License & Intellectual Property
(a) Grant of License: Upon enrollment, permission is granted to temporarily view and access the video lessons, C++ code repositories (hosted via Bitbucket), course Wiki documentation (hosted on Vercel), playable demo builds (hosted via itch.io), downloadable source files, text materials, and bilingual subtitles (English and Russian) for personal, non-commercial educational viewing only. This is the grant of a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license, not a transfer of title.
(b) Restrictions: Under this license, you may NOT:
- Modify, copy, record, capture, distribute, re-upload, broadcast, or publicly display any course video content (whether hosted via Teachable, Kinescope at app.kinescope.io, or other media streaming providers);
- Publicly re-host, redistribute, sell, or publish course source code, solution repositories (hosted on Bitbucket or elsewhere), or proprietary assets without prior written consent;
- Circumvent, disable, or bypass any DRM, encryption, or digital content protection mechanisms embedded in video players, downloadable resources, or demo builds hosted on itch.io or other platforms;
- Share your account credentials, login information, repository access, or course access links with any third party;
- Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, or extract proprietary source code from compiled demo builds provided in the course;
- Remove any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notations from any materials;
- Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server, cloud storage, or file-sharing service.
(c) Termination of License: This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by the School Owner at any time. Upon termination, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession, whether in electronic or printed format, and your access to the School will be revoked without refund.
5. User Conduct and Community Guidelines
Students are expected to maintain professional and respectful behavior in all course discussions, Q&A sections, and connected communication channels. Harassment, spam, piracy encouragement, or inappropriate conduct will result in immediate termination of access.
6. Fees, Payments, and Refunds
(a) Pricing: Course fees are displayed at the time of purchase. Payments are processed securely through Teachable and its integrated payment processors (Stripe/PayPal).
(b) Refund Policy: We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for course purchases made directly through Teachable, in accordance with Teachable's 14-day student course refund policy. If you are unsatisfied with the course for any reason, you may request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your initial purchase date. To request a refund, please process the request directly via your Teachable student account dashboard or contact us at support@ue-pro.com within the 14-day refund window.
(c) Coupons and Promotional Codes: The School Owner may, at its discretion, issue discount coupons or promotional codes. Any such coupons are personal, single-use, and non-transferable; they may not be resold, shared, or published. Coupons carry no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. Nothing in this section limits any mandatory statutory rights you may have under applicable EU or Finnish consumer protection law.
7. Course Access, Content Delivery, and Technical Requirements
(a) Gradual Content Release (Drip Content): Certain course sections are released gradually over time ("drip content"). Individual materials become available upon the expiration of specified periods following your enrollment date. The full volume of course materials becomes available no later than 40 calendar days after enrollment. Purchasing the course does not entitle you to immediate access to all course materials at once.
(b) Pre-Purchase Technical Verification: Before purchasing, you are advised to verify that: (i) preview videos published on the course website load and play correctly on your device and internet connection (including any VPN you use); (ii) you can successfully register an account on the Teachable platform (a free sample course is available for this purpose); and (iii) your device, software, and internet connection allow you to view the course materials. By purchasing the course, you confirm that you have independently verified the technical ability to register on Teachable and view the course videos. The School Owner is not responsible for the inability to access course materials where the issue is caused by your device, software, internet service provider, VPN, or regional or technical restrictions on your side.
(c) Instructor Support: The Instructor responds to student comments and questions in the course approximately once per week. This timeframe is indicative only and may vary depending on the volume of questions, technical circumstances, and other factors.
8. Educational Disclaimer; No Guarantee of Results; Certificate
(a) The course is of an informational and educational nature and does not guarantee the achievement of any specific result. Learning outcomes depend, among other things, on your initial skill level, the time and effort you devote to studying, completion of practical assignments, and other circumstances. Purchasing the course does not guarantee employment, income, successful project completion, or any other specific outcome.
(b) Recommended Skill Level: A self-assessment test is available on the course website to help you evaluate whether the course matches your level of preparation. If you do not take the test or disregard its recommendation, you assess the suitability of the course for your knowledge and skills at your own discretion and accept that the course materials may prove difficult for you.
(c) Certificate: The certificate issued upon course completion confirms completion of the course only. It is not a state-recognized document of education or qualification and does not replace a diploma, certificate, or any other document of education or professional qualification issued by an educational institution in accordance with applicable law.
9. Disclaimer
The materials on the School’s website are provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. The School Owner makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties, including without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property. Further, the School Owner does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its website or otherwise relating to such materials.
10. Limitations of Liability
In no event shall the School Owner or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data, lost profits, or business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on the School’s website, even if the School Owner or an authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions (including consumer protection laws within the EU/Finland) do not allow limitations on implied warranties or liability for consequential damages, these limitations apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
11. Revisions and Errata
The materials appearing on the School’s website could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. The School Owner does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete, or current. The School Owner may make changes to the materials contained on its website at any time without notice, but does not make any commitment to update the materials.
12. Third-Party Links
The School has not reviewed all sites linked to its website and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by the School Owner. Use of any such linked website is at the user's own risk.
13. Modifications to Terms of Use
The School Owner may revise these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. By using this website, you agree to be bound by the then-current version of these Terms of Use.
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
Any claim or dispute relating to the School’s website shall be governed by the laws of Finland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Finland, preserving mandatory EU consumer protection rights where applicable.
